Reform Memphis Animal Services - Save the pets
It is time for REFORM.
The Mayor has made enough excuses. Thousands of emails and letter have been sent to the Mayor, just to be ignored.
Animals at the Memphis Animal Shelter should be treated humanely and with dignity.
Sedation should be given to the animals before they are euthanized.
Only the very ill/injured or very aggressive should be euthanized.
Dogs in the stray area should be available for adoption, not hidden from the public and then killed for space.
An audit of MAS should be performed.
The employees should be held accountable for their actions.
The Animal Control Officers should be in the field, enforcing the laws that protect the citizens and animals of this community.
